    San Diego, CA, May 10, 2017 - ACON Laboratories, Inc. a worldwide manufacturer in medical diagnostic products for the point-of-care and clinical laboratory markets, today announced that a CLIA waiver has been received for the Microalbumin/Creatinine urine reagent strip. ACON Laboratories received notification from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration granting the Waived status operating with the Mission® U120 Urine Chemistry Test System. ACON Laboratories, Inc. Mission® Urinalysis Reagent Strips Microalbumin/Creatinine is a urine qualitative dipstick kidney screening tool. The strips are designed to determine the albumin to creatinine ratio in urine; detects Albumin & Creatinine as low as 10 mg/L while quickly identifying patients who are at risk for developing early kidney disease.
