ACON ToRCH EIA Test Kits measure IgG and IgM antibodies qualitatively and/or quantitatively in serum and plasma for Toxoplasma, Rubella, CMV, HSV 1 and HSV 2 infections. By launching a complete ToRCH EIA panel, ACON offers the flexibility of routine screening of pregnant women to prevent serious consequences to the fetus and newborn children. In addition, diagnosis of a previous or recent ToRCH infection can aid in patient management and treatment including patients with compromised immune systems, such as those who have had organ or bone marrow transplants, undergoing chemotherapy and those that have HIV/AIDS. All ToRCH EIA tests have been standardized using the same procedure and reagent volumes.
